Audubon Center Hosts Annual Fundraiser in Southbury This Sunday

The event will take place at the Bent of the River in Southbury on Sunday, Aug. 23 from 2:30 to 6 p.m.

The Audubon Center at Bent of the River in Southbury will host their annual fundraiser at the distinctively-stunning Pine Meadow Gardens on Sunday, Aug. 23 from 2:30 to 6 p.m., according to a press release.

As attendees stroll the numerous gardens, they will be entertained with vignette presentations of dancers, musicians, illustrators and live bird demonstrations. Butterfly, bird and plant experts will be on hand. Appetizers, beverages and wines will be available.

Admission is $50 per person, and tickets should be purchased in advance at bentoftheriver.audubon.org. Tickets will only be available at the gate if the event is not sold out.

Parking will be at 22 Old Waterbury Rd. in Southbury with shuttle service to the gardens.

All proceeds will benefit the not-for-profit Audubon Center.
