Bob Marley Cover Band, Local Author Discusses New Book

Here's a look at a few things happening around town on Tuesday, August 6: 

• “The Mighty Conquerors" will perform the music of Bob Marley to share the spirit of the king of reggae with the world at the Gatehouse Cafe on Tuesday night. 
  
  
• Local author, Steven Parlato, artist, poet and Naugatuck Valley Community College professor, will read his acclaimed YA debut, The Namesake Tuesday at the Southbury Public Library. 
  
  
• Director of the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY, will introduce the film 'In the Valley of the Wolves' an Emmy Award-winning film by Bob Landis in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone, and lead a discussion afterwards, at New Morning Market on Tuesday.
