Burglary Attempt Interrupted at Southbury Residence
Incident is third residential burglary in town in recent weeks.

A burglary was reportedly interrupted at a residence on Sky View Drive in Southbury earlier this week.
According to police, a girl who was arriving home from school on March 13 at approximately 2:35 p.m., observed a man running around the exterior of her home. The man was believed to be in the home before the girl arrived, though nothing was reported stolen.
The suspect was described by police as a 5'10" Hispanic male with short dark hair, weighing 185-200 lbs. The suspect’s car was described as a blue SUV with CT plates beginning with the numbers 737.

This is the third such burglary reported in Southbury in recent weeks. The Southbury Police Department are also investigating a burglary that occurred in a condo unit at Winding Brook Condominiums on March 1, and a burglary that occurred on Feb. 27 on Bucks Hill Road.
