Car Crash, High Speeds Lead to Numerous DUIs in Southbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department and CT State Police Department. Guilt is not implied.

Courtney Richter, 22, of Wethersfield, was charged with DUI and failure to drive to the right on June 1 at approximately 1:46 a.m. after police observed her driving erratically on Southford Road in Southbury.

Richter was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 11.

Nuno Soares, 36, of Waterbury, was charged with DUI, failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a vehicle without a license on June 3 at approximately 11:01 p.m. after police observed her driving erratically on Interstate 84 east in Southbury.

Soares was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 19.

Louis Dandrea, 21, of Middlebury, was charged with DUI and traveling unreasonably fast on June 2 at approximately 4:38 a.m. after she lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree on Sachem Road in Southbury.

Dandrea was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 11.
