At some point last week counterfeit bills were passed at a Southbury business.
According to police, two counterfeit ten-dollar bills were used at Hine Bros. Garage, 67 Main Street South in Southbury. The bills were verified by People’s United Bank as counterfeit.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Southbury Police Department at (203) 264-5912. All calls will be kept confidential.
