News release from CTDOT.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance and Recertification will be performed on I-84 Eastbound Exit 14 in Southbury on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 (rain date Wednesday, March 26, 2025).

This project is being performed by State Forces, TAPCO, Fiber Optics Plus and Electrical Representatives.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

The exit ramp for I-84 at Exit 14 Eastbound in Southbury, will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic will be detoured I-84 Eastbound to Exit 15. Take a left off-ramp onto Route 67. Take a left onto I-84 Westbound on-ramp. Get off Exit 14 Westbound.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
