Fire in Southbury Blazes Through 7 Acres of Forest
Fire Investigators have an idea of what could have caused the flames.

Fire Investigators suspect the cause of a brush fire Tuesday night that burned around 7 acres of forest was caused by a campfire made by two juveniles, according to the Republican-American.
First responders spent around five hours fighting the fire that was on hilly terrain with ledge and fallen trees, located in the forest between River Road and Chain Trail in the Berkshires neighborhood, the Rep-Am reported. The dry and rough conditions of the woods highly contributed to the spread of the flames.
No injuries were reported, but several firefighters were exhausted from the long night in the woods, Fire Chief Rick Lyle told the Rep-Am.
