First Republican Candidate for First Selectman Announced

Republican Jeff Manville announced on the Southbury Green Wednesday his candidacy for first selectmen with his campaign of transparency, cooperation and accountability, the Republican-American reported.

Manville is the first Republican to announce candidacy, and is running against Incumbent First Selectmen Ed Edelson, a Democrat running for his third term, who defeated Republican John Monteleone in 2013, the Rep-Am reported.
