Halloween in the Plaza A Great Success

Thousands of homes are without power, electrical lines and trees remain strewn across Southbury and the sun hasn’t shined down on the area in days – but you wouldn’t know any of that if you were at the Trick or Treat in the Southbury Plaza Wednesday evening.

Thousands of local children celebrated Halloween by piling into the Southbury Plaza, going from store to store comparing costumes and collecting candy.

With door to door trick or treating discouraged due to the conditions, the Plaza was a saving grace of sorts, welcoming children from across the area and filling their bags with sugary sweets.
