SOUTHBURY, CT —The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 188 in Southbury and Middlebury from Route 67 to Route 64 Middlebury Road. This project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 10 and be completed on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating traffic on Route 188. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
