I live in Southbury with my wife, Jennifer, and our two dogs. I am lucky to also have much of my extended family in the area and take pride in being the “fun uncle” to a wonderful group of nieces and nephews.

Why are you seeking this office?
I believe in being the change I wish to see. I want be part of the positive contribution to Southbury’s future by supporting balanced development, thoughtful planning, and policies that reflect the values of our community.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is managing growth in a way that preserves Southbury’s character while allowing for thoughtful, sustainable development. It’s important that our community members, in particular our senior population, have the support they need and can continue to live in an affordable, welcoming environment.
I intend to work toward clear, balanced zoning decisions that encourage responsible progress without compromising what makes our community special.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I bring a fresh perspective grounded in both technical and community experience. My background in problem solving and data first decision making helps me approach zoning issues objectively, with a focus on preserving the city's character and long-term sustainability.
I’m committed to collaboration, transparency, and ensuring every resident’s voice is heard in shaping our shared future.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Beyond managing growth, I want to focus on increasing community engagement and ensuring residents have a clear voice in local planning.
I believe in making zoning decisions that not only serve today’s needs but also protect the town’s affordability, natural environment, and overall quality of life for all residents.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As a software engineer and small business founder, I’ve built a career on solving complex problems and turning ideas into practical solutions. My experience as a successful entrepreneur has taught me how to balance innovation with real-world constraints.
A skill that’s essential for thoughtful zoning decisions. I approach challenges analytically and collaboratively, with a focus on fairness, sustainability, and long-term community benefit.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to take a moment to ask why someone does something instead of making an assumption.
It’s amazing how much conflict disappears when you give people the benefit of the doubt and allow them the time to present their point of view.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I’m running because I truly care about Southbury and the people who call it home. I want everyone to know that I’ll approach every decision with honesty and a genuine desire to do what’s best for our community.
