Police: Man Driving Drunk Through Southbury Construction Zone
The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Eric Riess, 39, of Middletown, was charged with DUI in a construction zone, failure to maintain proper lane in a construction zone and failure to use a turn signal in a construction zone on May 22 at approximately 12:39 a.m. after police observed him operating erratically in a construction zone on I-84 East near exit 14 in Southbury.
Riess was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on June 5.
