Police Search for Southbury Mailbox Smasher

Southbury Police are searching for a car that took out multiple mailboxes and evaded an accident earlier this week.

According to police, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Poverty Road in Southbury when it veered off the right side of the roadway and struck two mailboxes. The vehicle then left the scene of the accident.

A bystander was able to observe the first three digits of the Connecticut registration as 733.
