Police: Southbury Woman Attempts to Drive Repossessed Car Off Wrecker
The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Susan Page, 52, of Southbury, was charged with criminal mischief on May 10.
According to police, Page surrendered herself to Southbury Police after learning of a warrant for her arrest. The charge stemmed from an incident that occurred on March 25 at approximately 7:58 a.m., when a man attempted to repossess Page’s car and she jumped inside of the vehicle and tried to drive it off the wrecker, damaging the wrecker.
Page was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 22.
