Region 15 Kindergarten Registration Is Now Open

To complete the Kindergarten Registration process, each student will participate in an individual registration appointment.

Parents/Guardians of children in Regional School District 15 who will begin Kindergarten in the 2025-26 school year can start the registration process now. Beginning this process now helps us to plan for next school year more effectively. Information about the registration process can be found on the Region 15 website at https://www.region15.org/register/kindergarten.

  • To start kindergarten in the 2025-26 school year, your child must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2025. There is a state provision that provides for a waiver application for students who will turn age 5 by January 1, 2026 per written request from the family and meet the required screening assessment and review process.
  • Parents/Guardians are required to complete an online form called the Kindergarten Initial Student Registration Form to begin the registration process.
  • Parents/Guardians are invited to learn about Region 15’s Kindergarten program on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 6:00 pm. A Parent/Guardian Information Session will take place at each elementary school (Snow Date Thursday, March 13, 2025).
  • To complete the Kindergarten Registration process, each student will participate in an individual registration appointment. Elementary schools will contact families directly for appointments which are generally held in late May / early June. Elementary Schools will contact families directly for appointments.
