The Town Clerk’s Office in connection with our records management company IQS offers online dog license renewal. If your dog was registered last year and the rabies certificate is still current, you can save time by renewing the license through the online portal between June 1 and August 31.

Dog licenses can also be renewed by mail or in person during office hours.

All dogs six months and older are required, by state law to be licensed during June in the town in which they reside. The fee for the license is $8 for dogs neutered or spayed and $19 if unaltered. A current rabies certificate is required for all dogs and a neutered or spay certificate is required for dogs that will be newly licensed or are recently neutered or spayed. There is a $1 late fee for each month after June. The Town Clerk accepts checks or cash only.
