Shoplifting at Southbury K-Mart, DUI Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Tiffany Bardelli, 38, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Jan. 4 at approximately 5:55 p.m. for allegedly shoplifting from K-Mart, 100 Main St. North in Southbury.

Video surveillance and additional investigation by Southbury Police led to this arrest.

Bardelli was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 16.

Benjamin Kaye, 20, of Oxford, was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane on Jan. 5 at approximately 2:47 a.m. after state police observed him driving erratically on I-84 east in Southbury.

Kaye was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 16.
