Conservation Commission is needing volunteers at McMillen Park to rebuild a bridge that is in disrepair. McMillen Park is located at 111 Meadow Brook Road in Southbury.

The project will take place on two Saturdays, May 31 and June 7, 2025.

On 5/31 the old bridge will be disassembled, and on 6/7 the new bridge will be built.

Commissioners with the construction knowledge will lead the project but they need additional 6 people to help. The work will take about 6 hours each day.

If you have the following tools, please bring them to use: battery powered drill, crowbar or similar, and hammer or mallet. Bring your own lunch, gloves, and hydration.
