When I checked on the pool this morning, the sun was shining and the pool decks were being powerwashed in anticipation of Opening Day. Our Public Works Department, with assistance from the Parks and Recreation, Building, and Land Use Departments, have been doing a fantastic job making sure the pool is open for our 2025 Summer Season. It’s been very rewarding to see the results of everyone’s hard work and coordinated efforts. I look forward to see everyone at the Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, June 20, 2025.

The library may be in a temporary location, but that hasn’t stopped them from offering a fantastic summer program schedule again this year. Check out their full events calendar online.

Miss Bennett’s role was the principal liaison between Pomperaug High School and the community. Having worked with Miss Bennett on this committee, I know she has a bright future ahead of her.
