Southbury to Open Its First Adult Day Care
The town has officially approved the opening of a new adult day care on Main Street South.

Michele Zurko-Smith has received approval to open an adult day care facility in Southbury on Main Street South, according to the Republican-American.
Southbury Planning Commission approved a special exception last week, which will permit the day care center to accommodate up to 62 adults, the Rep-Am reported.
The business is expected to operate between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. every Monday through Friday, with occasional special events on weekends, according to the Rep-Am. This will be the town’s first adult day care center, which is set to provide lunch, snacks, arts and crafts, and reading and TV areas to clients.
