Southbury Plaza Merchants Donate to Local Animal Rescues
Thanks to everyone who entered the Plaza's "I Love My Pet" contest, the Plaza and PetValu donated to two local animal rescue organizations.
The shopping center management staff loved opening the submissions sent in for the “I Love My Pet” Valentine’s photo contest! It brightened our day to see the sweet faces of your beloved pets looking back at us!
In honor of all the pets entered, Southbury Plaza merchants donated a check for $250 to Better Days Rescue Fund, an area non-profit cat rescue! The Plaza’s PetValu store matched that donation with their own $250 check to go to Rose Hope Animal Refuge, another area rescue group for both cats and dogs! Thank you to everyone who participated.
