Town Phones May be Interrupted Today

As part of an upgrade to the town’s telecommunication system, the telephone service at Town Hall, the Community Center, the Public Works facilities and the Probate Court may be interrupted today, Thursday, March 28, between 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Telephone service to Southbury Police and the Southbury Library are not expected to be impacted, according to the town. Email services will remain active today as an alternate method of contacting town personnel. Email contact information can be accessed at the Departments directory.

This upgrade is part of an effort to yield cost efficiencies and improve services, said the town.
