Connecticut residents may be eligible for up to $20,000 over 4 years for student loan reimbursement beginning January 1, 2025. Under the state’s new program, the following individuals may be eligible for student loan reimbursement:

In addition, applicants must have lived in Connecticut for at least five years and have outstanding loan balances that they have been paying. Also, applicants must have done 50 hours of volunteer work for a non-profit or municipality and meet certain income thresholds.

Applicants will be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis.
