Woman Illegally Obtains Prescription from CVS, Swimming Pool Vandalized

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Vinoda Singh, 27, of Waterbury was charged with second-degree forgery on Friday, Oct. 19 at approximately 1:32 p.m.

According to police, Singh was attempting to obtain a fake prescription from CVS Pharmacy, 22 Depot Hill Rd. in Southbury.

Singh was released on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 30.

Southbury Police are investigating vandalism to an above ground swimming pool located at a Hulls Hill Rd. residence. The swimming pool was believed to be damaged on the morning of Oct. 15.
