World Language Week at Memorial Middle School

Southbury/Middlebury, CT- World Language Week, an annual event celebrated at Memorial Middle School, was held this year from May 9th to 13th. Students and staff at MMS celebrated the importance of knowing a second language. Activities to celebrate the week included the design and purchase of an original t-shirt advertising the week, several contests e.g. Question of the Day (question about languages), Mona Lisa photo contest, limbo contest, paint your ethnic flag on your face, ethnic music, and announcements by students in their second or first language.
