All three authors of GOD is Watching the Apples—Tops Marketplace co-owners, John Salerno and Betsy Tooker, and prominent local author, Chuck Miceli—invite you to an engaging evening at the Southington Public Library. Learn the remarkable true story behind Tops Marketplace, a beloved community grocery rebuilt after tragedy through faith, grit, and the support of neighbors.

The authors will present highlights from their book with a special slide show, share personal stories, and answer questions from the audience. Participants who have read the book are encouraged to discuss their impressions; those new to the story will gain insight into why it’s touched so many in Connecticut and beyond.
