Massive Amusement Park Toy Drive To Benefit Southington Children

The 3-day 'Stuff the Pepsi Truck' event at the park's holiday celebration this weekend will benefit Southington Community Services.

SOUTHINGTON/BRISTOL, CT — Southington Community Services is the beneficiary this weekend of Lake Compounce's Holiday Lights 2025 "Stuff the Pepsi Truck initiative.

If all goes well, Southington children who are otherwise struggling economically will be able to enjoy the holiday season and see toys under the tree.

• Guests to Lake Compounce, Connecticut's beloved amusement park located in both Southington and Bristol, are asked to bring an unwrapped toy worth $10 or up to the annual Holiday Lights 2025 event.

• "Stuff the Pepsi Truck" runs Friday, Dec. 12, through Sunday, Dec. 14, during the event, in which the park is decked out in breath-taking holiday lights and decorations, with concessions and some attractions open.

• Those who bring in a toy donation will then get a free 2026 summer admission ticket for a day at Lake Compounce.

Friday's hours are 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturday's hours are 3 to 9 p.m.; and Sunday's hours are 3 to 8 p.m.
