Southington Chorus Promises Memorable Spring Show
Southington Festival Chorale's annual spring concert will take place Sunday afternoon, May 4, with all invited to come.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — It will be showtime in Southington this Sunday when the Southington Festival Chorale's spring concert promises to showcase "Music Throughout the Seasons."
That is the name of the show the volunteer choral group will present for this annual event, with a diverse vocal playlist expected to feature hit songs like "Africa," "Like a Prayer," and "Born Free."
Also expected are classical numbers from beloved artists like Brahms and Fauré, according to the group.

The show will take place at the First Lutheran Church of Southington, 232 Bristol St., Southington, on Sunday, May 4, from 3 to 5 p.m.
The ensemble of singers is directed by Matthew W. Bartlet, and the choral group was founded in 1977.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and free for children under 12. They are available at the door.
