Southington Woman Wins Big Lottery Prize

She's thousands of dollars richer after buying a winning lottery ticket this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Southington woman won thousands of dollars in the Connecticut Lottery this week.

Janice Rinaldi of Southington won $10,000 after buying a winning "$100,000 Cashword 11" ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

Rinaldi bought her ticket at the Terryville Mobil in Terryville (a neighborhood in Plymouth) and cashed it in on Mondayy.
