Tickets Available For Major Southington Museum Fundraiser

SOUTHINGTON, CT — There are still tickets available for a major fundraiser on Thursday to support Southington's beloved art/history museum.

The Barnes Museum, located at 85 N. Main St., Southington, is hosting a wine-tasting benefit on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

It promises "an enchanting evening of wine and cider tasting on our beautiful grounds," wrote event organizers.

Tickets are $40 per person, and the first 75 guests will receive a special souvenir glass to commemorate the night.

Folks can buy tickets online through the Friends of The Barnes by visiting its website.

All proceeds support The Barnes Museum.

The event is only for those aged 21 and over.
