To ensure safe and efficient leaf collection, the city will place temporary "no parking" signs on heavily parked streets. Vehicles parked illegally during this time may be ticketed and towed.
Residents are encouraged to consider mulching leaves in their lawns or raking them into wooded areas where they can naturally decompose. These green alternatives are easy, cost-effective and beneficial for soil health.
Residents can also drop off leaves at the Stamford Transfer Station or other designated sites with proof of residency.
