UPDATE: More Stamford Schools Announce Schedule Change

School officials have decided on schedule changes because of the impending stormy weather.

*Editor’s note: This story has been updated to include additional schools that will have early dismissal.

Due to the impending snowy, sleet and rainy weather Tuesday afternoon, officials have announced that all Stamford Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Tuesday.

Here is the announcement released at 8:32 a.m.:

“For your school’s early dismissal time, please consult your parent handbook or go to www.stamfordpublicschools.org.

All SPS afterschool programs, including ROSCCO and Adult Education Classes will be canceled today. For other after-school programs, please contact the provider directly.”

Also dismissing classes early are:

  • King School
  • J.M. Wright Regional Vo-Tech
  • Trinity Catholic High School
