Road Reopens After Downed Wires Reported In Stamford: Public Safety

The road was closed for a few hours Wednesday afternoon.

STAMFORD, CT — Bedford Street has reopened to thru traffic between Urban Street and 6th Street after downed wires were reported in the area Wednesday afternoon, according to an update from Stamford Public Safety on X.

A partial closure of Bedford Street was reported shortly before 1 p.m. Normal traffic flow has resumed as of 3:35 p.m.
