Drug Take Back Day To Be Held In Stamford: Details
Residents can safely dispose their unused, unwanted or expired medication at police headquarters later this month.
STAMFORD, CT — Those with unused, unwanted or expired medication can mark their calendars for Oct. 25, as the Stamford Police Department will participate in a National Drug Take Back Day event.
Residents can safely dispose their medication at a convenient drive-thru at police headquarters, 725 Bedford St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Liquids, creams or needles will not be accepted.
Residents who dispose of medication will get a free medication locking bag while supplies last.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, over 620,000 pounds of unused, unwanted and expired medication was collected nationwide during the most recent event in April of this year.
