The Flower Chef is Coming to Stamford

The Harry Bennett Branch of The Ferguson Library will host 'Flower Chef' Carly Cylinder.

STAMFORD, CT - Spring will be in the air at the Harry Bennett Branch of The Ferguson Library when Carly Cylinder, the visionary behind the bi-coastal floral business, Flour LA, comes to talk about her new book,The Flower Chef: A Modern Guide to Do-It-Yourself Floral Arrangements, a comprehensive guide to floral design.

Cylinder will appear at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2.

Cylinder is an entrepreneur, traveler and writer whose work has been featured on BetterHomesandGardens.com, Apartment Therapy, The Nest, the Huffington Post, and Style Me Pretty.

The Flower Chef caters to all readers, from beginners who have never worked with flowers before and are looking for a new creative outlet, to decorators, party planners, and photographers looking to liven up their spaces, to professionals who want to update their techniques. The book features a variety of individual “recipes” for gorgeous DIY flower arrangements, including prep time, “cook” time, season, difficulty, and cost.
