Mary Palmer, 100, a former ASCAP Licensing employee, substitute teacher, bookkeeper, avid Yankees and UConn women’s basketball fan, and talented cook with a passion for opera, Sinatra, and spending time with her grandchildren, passed on Dec. 27, 2024.

Bob West, PhD, 93, a consulting pharmacologist-toxicologist, published author, past president of the Drug Information Association, and expert witness in medical-legal cases, passed away peacefully on Dec. 25, 2024.

Veteran U.S. Army Combat Engineer Sergeant Dominick Daniel Santagata, a skilled saxophone player and commercial construction worker who fought in five major WWII campaigns including Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge, completed 26 river crossings, received the French Legion of Honor "Chevalier" award in May 2012, and was active in the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge organization, died at age 100.

Drummer and competitive bowler Henry W. Turner, Jr., who performed with the Port Chester High School marching band at the Rose Bowl Parade and won first place as part of the Stateliners Drum and Bugle Corps quartet, died at 71.
