In Memoriam: Lisa Chiaia Sprouse

Lisa Chiaia Sprouse, 47, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at St. Camillus Health Care Center.

Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years Stewart Sprouse; her loving daughter Celia Sprouse; her loving parents Joseph and Maud Simon Chiaia; her sister Josie Fraioli and her husband Carlo, all of Stamford, as well as a niece, Lianna Melzer and her husband Danny of Stamford and grand-nieces Rylee and Madison Melzer.

A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held on Friday, February 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Memorial Service to be celebrated at 5 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lisa’s memory to The Carl & Dorothy Bennett cancer Center, 34 Shelburne Rd., Stamford, CT 06820.
