The long-time Stamford resident passed away Feb. 13 at the age of 89.

Norma G. Steinberg, 89, died at home surrounded by family in Stamford, on February 13, 2016.
She was born in New York, New York, in 1926, and lived in Stamford for 55 years.

Norma was predeceased by her husband, Franklyn I. Steinberg.
Survivors include her son, Jon Steinberg, of Norwalk; daughter, Linda Cantor of Radnor, PA; daughter-in-law, Maria Steinberg; son-in-law Eric Cantor; and her grandchildren, Franklyn (Samantha) and Sydney.

A funeral service will be held at Shippan’s Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home (next to the Knights of Columbus) 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, on Sunday (TODAY), February 14, at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY. Shiva will be observed at the Steinberg home in Stamford, Connecticut on Sunday and Monday, and at the home of Eric and Linda Cantor in Radnor, PA, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, or to another charity of your choice.
