In Memoriam: Theodore G. Komsta

Theodore G. Komsta, lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away at Stamford Hospital on the morning of Wednesday, February 24, 2016. He was 96 years old.

Theodore was born in Stamford on May 10, 1919 to the late Alexander and Josephine Komsta.

He graduated from Stamford High School and served in the U.S Navy during WWII. He was stationed in the Pacific and served aboard the USS Antietam. He worked in the Plastics Industry.

Theodore is survived by his second wife, Rosemarie Komsta and his daughter and son-in-law, Kalinka and Stan Zasinski. I

n addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Boshka, his son, Bruce Komsta, and his brother Walter “Lou” Komsta.

He was a Loving and Beloved Father and Husband who will be sorely missed.

Mr. Komsta’s family will be receiving the sympathy and condolences of friends and family on Sunday, February 28, from 2 to 5 pm at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford. A prayer service will take place at 1 pm on Monday, February 29, at Bosak Funeral Home followed by the interment at Woodland Cemetery in Stamford.
