Numerous Roads Flooded In Stamford: Public Safety
Drivers are being asked to avoid several roads.
STAMFORD, CT — "Numerous" roads have flooded in Stamford Wednesday evening, according to an announcement from Stamford Public Safety on X.
Drivers should avoid North State Street, South State Street, Elm Street, Canal Street, E. Main Street, Crystal Street, Dale Street, Liberty Street, and Merrell Avenue.
Storms and heavy rain were forecast to impact the area Wednesday night.

Rain will taper off going into Thursday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 p.m., the National Weather Service says. Patchy fog will roll in after 2 a.m.
