Orientation for Stamford's New School
Parents are invited to check out what will be offered at The New School.
An orientation will be held for prospective parents for the New School, an inter-district magnet school that is scheduled to open this fall, will be held Wednesday.
The Board of Education is hosting the open house at 10 a.m. Feb. 10 at the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd.
Parents will learn about the school that will open on a new campus at 200 Strawberry Hill Ave. for the 2016-17 school year. It will open with kindergarten and first-grade classes with an additional grade level added each year.

The school will be seeking candidate status as an International Baccalaureate School.
