Police Officer Injured In Crash In Stamford: PD
The crash occurred when several officers were responding to an emergency call, according to police.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford police officer was injured in a crash Tuesday while responding to an emergency call, according to police.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. when several officers were responding to an emergency call on High Ridge Road, Sgt. Jeffrey Booth of the Stamford Police Department said.
At the intersection of High Ridge Road and Oaklawn Avenue, a marked Stamford police vehicle was involved in a collision with a pickup truck.

The police vehicle was then redirected into a third vehicle, Booth said. The officer was taken to Stamford Hospital where they were treated for injuries and released.
The other drivers involved did not report any injuries, Booth said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
