Police Say Stamford Woman Bit Guard While Trying to Steal
A Stamford woman allegedly bit a security guard during an attempt to commit a larceny and two Stamford men are charged with possession of drugs after allegedly driving around with no lights on.

A Stamford woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon after she attempted to shoplift and then but a guard during a struggle when they tried to detain her, police said Thursday.
Stephanie Marin, 27, of Clarks Hill Ave., was charged with larceny, assault and robbery in the incident.
Police said security guards at Lord & Taylor's had witnessed the woman attempting to steal approximately $500 worth of unnamed merchandise and then tried to stop her as she attempted to leave the store.

At this point, authorities said the woman bit the guard on the thumb and ran down the street but was caught by security down the street and detained until police arrived.
Marin was due in court on Thursday.

Officers on patrol early Thursday morning made two drug arrests after conducting a motor vehicle stop on a car driving without lights on, police said Thursday afternoon.
Police pulled over a vehicle being driven along W. Main St. by a man later identified as Emmanuel Colon, 18, of Southfield Ave., they said. Authorities said the officer could smell marijuana as he approached the car.
Colon was patted down and discovered to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana totaling 14.25 grams, including the container in which it was being held.
Additional passengers were pulled out of the vehicle and patted down following the discovery of marijuana, police said. One additional passenger, identified by police as Dominique Chisenga, 19, of Washington Blvd., was allegedly found to be in possession of drugs.
Police said Chisenga had an unmarked pill bottle wrapped in a cloth on his person and, when asked to identify the pills in the bottle, explained they were Adderal he took to help him study.
Colon was charged with possession of a controlled substance and failure to properly display lights on his vehicle. Chisenga was charged with possession of narcotics and possession with intent to sell.

Gerald Appollon, 48, of Pierce St. in Malden, Mass., was charged Thursday morning with sexual assault in the 1st degree and illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16 stemming from an incident that occurred on May 8, 2012.
Mauricio Floriano, 38, of Glenbrook Rd., was charged early Thursday morning with breach of peace and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.
Deja Renee Hines, 22, of Clinton Ave., was charged early Thursday morning with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and risk of injury to a child.
Reginald Lark, 47, of Shippan Ave., was charged Wednesday evening with larceny.
Jimmy Lorius, 32, of Myano Ln., was charged Wednesday night with failure to appear.
Pinkney Pearson, 60, of 108th Avenue in Jamaica, NY, was charged Wednesday afternoon with failure to appear.
Diego Alejandro Ramirez, 21, of Shippan Ave., was charged Wednesday evening with assault.
Richter R. Rinvil, 18, of Custer St., was charged Wednesday night with not wearing face protection while on a motorcycle, illegally operating a motor vehicle while under suspension, possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance.
Lewis Wilson, 58, of Kewstown Rd. in Philadelphia, Penn., was charged Wednesday afternoon with larceny, conspiracy to commit a crime and attempting to commit a crime.
