Prominent Stamford Retail Building Sells For $62 Million
The building was constructed in 1969 and last renovated in 2024.
STAMFORD, CT — The building at 110 High Ridge Road that houses Whole Foods and Saks Off 5th sold last month, according to Stamford property transfer records.
The buyer, 110 High Ridge Owner LLC, purchased the property from LT Stamford LLC for $62 million.
Westport-based Zelco Properties & Development is part of the ownership group, and its subsidiary brokerage firm Charter Realty will handle leasing for the 153,416-square-foot building, which was once occupied by Lord & Taylor before it closed in 2021.

The building was constructed in 1969 and last renovated in 2024. That year, the City of Stamford appraised the building at $35.36 million, according to property records.
Saks Off Fifth moved into a 30,000-square-foot space on the second level in October 2022, and Whole Foods opened on the entire first floor last December.

Currently, there is about 25,000 square feet of space available on the second level for four tenants (2,186 SF, 3,174 SF, 5253 SF, 14,300 SF) next to Saks, according to Charter Realty.
On the third level, 50,000 square feet is available for lease. The third level features a new dedicated entrance from the parking lot, views of downtown Stamford and the water, a skylight atrium, and exterior access as a potential outdoor patio/terrace, Charter Realty notes on its website.
There are 640 total parking spaces at the site.
This is the third sale of the property in the last 20 years. Stamford property records show a sale of $25.79 million in 2006 to LT Propco LLC, and a sale of $53,632 to LT Stamford in 2015.
