Andree Iorfino, 81, passed away on Marcb 22, 2025; born May 27, 1943, in Marnand, Switzerland, she worked as a chef, managed bookkeeping for her husband’s business for 35 years, enjoyed gardening and cooking, and is survived by her husband, sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Avanelle Marie Langham, 87, passed away on March 22, 2025; born Oct. 9, 1937, in Adrian, PA, she worked at Karps Hardware for over 30 years, was known for her decorated birthday cakes and her smile, quick wit and willingness to listen and share advice; she is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rita Leydon Griffin, 90, a devoted volunteer, active community member, and former board member at Hampshire House, passed away on March 19, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of service, faith, and hospitality, as well as her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
June Elizabeth Roberts, 96, passed away on March 18, 2025; born June 21, 1928, in South China, ME, she dedicated over 30 years to teaching elementary music, sang in church and community choirs, and was an active member of the Greenwich Choral Society and St. John Basilica in Stamford as a choir member, cantor, and lector.

Lucia “Cietta” Frattaroli, 96, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025; born May 23, 1928, in Settefrati, Italy, she immigrated to the U.S. in the 1960s, was dedicated to her faith, organized the annual La Madonna di Canneto celebration, and was known for her homemade pasta, sauce, and signature “cruspulla” cookies, while cherishing time with her children and grandchildren.
Theodore John “Ted” Coppola, 78, passed away on March 16, 2025; born Oct. 7, 1946, in San Mango Sul Calore, Italy, he served as a Military Policeman in Korea during the Vietnam War, built a respected career as an electrical contractor and founder of Tedmar Electric, and found joy at his Vermont home with family and friends.
Peter Joseph Loughran, Sr., 91, passed away on March 16, 2025; born Jan. 11, 1934, he was a dedicated teacher, coach, referee, and real estate broker, taught Latin and history for over 30 years, coached multiple sports, played baseball in the Stamford Twilight League, was inducted into the Stamford Old Timers Athletic Association Honor Roll, and enjoyed gardening, golf, and his work as a ranger at Sterling Farms.
John Julius Bernard, 92, passed away on Mar. 16, 2025; born Apr. 12, 1932, in Siparia, Trinidad, he worked as a forest ranger before immigrating to the U.S., where he earned a GED, bachelor's degree, and two master's degrees while working as a hospital custodian and security guard, eventually becoming a college professor at Norwalk College and a devoted student of the Bible.
