Richard W. Lowman, 69, died Oct. 4, 2025; a longtime City of Stamford head custodian whose 45-year career spanned numerous schools, he was also an active Eagles Club member known for his humor, dedication, and warm spirit.

Aaron Langman, 89, died Sept. 26, 2025; a Holocaust survivor who built a new life in the U.S. as founder and owner of an apparel company, he was known for his philanthropy, love of tennis, and devotion to the New York Yankees.

Fr. Constantine Mathews, 95, died Sept. 26, 2025; a Greek Orthodox priest, scholar, and author who led parishes in Indiana and Connecticut for more than five decades, he was known for his devotion to faith, education, and service, publishing several theological works and continuing his ministry well into retirement.

Annabell Fusaro, 93, died Sept. 23, 2025; a former executive secretary and skilled golfer who won multiple local tournaments and recorded two holes-in-one, she also enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, tennis, and antique collecting throughout her long and active life.

Jeffrey A. “Coach” O’Connell, 80, died Sept. 17, 2025; a lifelong educator and coach in Stamford Public Schools for 47 years, he was also known as “The Picnic Man” for his decades of community events and as “General Jeff” at the Italian Center Summer Camp, where his enthusiasm for sports, teaching, and laughter inspired generations.

Tommaso “Masino” Socci, 80, died Sept. 14, 2025; a hardworking husband and father who cherished simple pleasures, he was known for his steady presence and found joy in watching cooking shows, WWE wrestling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Martin F. “Marty” Armstrong III, 76, died Sept. 13, 2025; a longtime businessman, writer, and community member, he operated Armstrong Insurance and Property Management in Bridgeport, wrote a fishing column for the Stamford Advocate, and devoted his life to animals, environmental work, and nearly two decades of sobriety.

Jane Murray Harris Vossler, 83, died Sept. 12, 2025; a lifelong educator who taught in California, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, she earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Westfield State College in 1963 and a master’s from the University of Bridgeport in 1989, was devoted to her family, and found joy in teaching, skiing, and community life in Rowayton.

Rita J. Molgano, 94, died Sept. 8, 2025; co-owner of Lou’s Kitchen in New Canaan for 38 years, she built a career in food service, was active in St. Bridget of Ireland Church and the Columbiettes, and was devoted to cooking, hospitality, and community service.
