Stamford Firefighters Battle House Fire
The fire is under investigation with the Stamford Fire Marshal Office.
STAMFORD, CT — Stamford and Belltown firefighters battled a house fire at 39 Fawn Dr. around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
They responded to a report of the “side of a house on fire," fire officials said. The residents were home at the time and called 911. Engine 43 arrived in under 4 minutes, deployed a hose line and was able to knock down the fire quickly before it made entry into the home, officials said.
Additional Stamford fire units also responded and assisted with overhauling the exterior of the home, checking for any extension inside, and removing smoke from the residence, officials said.
