Stamford Health Opens New Multi-Specialty Facility

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Health has opened a new multi-specialty facility at 260 Long Ridge Road, expanding access to care for patients in Stamford and surrounding communities.

The facility occupies 66,000 square feet on the building’s second floor and will open in phases, Stamford Health said Friday in an announcement. The first phase, totaling 23,000 square feet, began operating Aug. 25 and brings together several specialties previously located at 292 Long Ridge Road.

Services at the new site include behavioral health, diabetes education, endocrinology and rheumatology.

Three behavioral health providers have relocated from the Tully Health Center, with pediatric psychiatry expected in 2026. The diabetes education program, 10 diabetes and endocrinology providers, and four rheumatology providers have also moved into the new space.

"This new facility reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a modern, collaborative environment," said Dr. Richard Morel, president and CEO of Stamford Health Medical Group, in an announcement. "By bringing together multiple specialties under one roof, we’re making it easier for patients to access the care they need, when they need it—while also fostering innovation and teamwork among our providers."

Stamford Health’s existing 41,000-square-foot facility at 292 Long Ridge Road houses several primary care, OB-GYN, nephrology and urogynecology practices, as well as a blood draw station, radiology services and a walk-in center.

Together, the two neighboring sites are expected to function as a hub for health care services.

Over the next several years, Stamford Health plans to add more specialties at 260 Long Ridge Road, filling the remaining 40,000 square feet.
