Stamford Men Cited for Marijuana, Paraphernalia Possession
New Canaan Police say they found pot and a marijuana grinder in the driver's vehicle.

A Stamford man and his passenger were cited for marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession after a New Canaan Police officer saw a vehicle traveling south on Ponus Ridge Road and fail to stay within the proper lane.
During a motor vehicle stop at 12:15 a.m. Feb. 13, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as he approached it, according to a police report.
Marijuana and a black marijuana grinder were found during a search of the vehicle, according to the report.

The operator, identified as Luke Dardis, 19, of Overbrook Drive, Stamford, was issued an infraction for possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana. The passenger, identified as Sean Dolan, 20, of Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, was issued an infraction for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Information on whether any traffic violations were issued was not immediately available on Monday.
