Stamford Police Investigate Woman's Fatal Fall

Stamford Police are investigating the death of a Turkish emigre who apparently fell from the roof of the three-story apartment building where she lived.

The unidentified 28-year-old woman, who emigrated from Turkey two months ago, died after she fell from the roof of the Bedford Street building about 10:20 p.m. Thursday, according to The Advocate.

The woman was found after a neighbor called police when he heard a noise outside his apartment and saw the woman laying on the ground. She died less than an hour later at Stamford Hospital, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
